Are you unemployed, mis-employed, or know someone who is?
The purpose of the Career Explorers Ministry is to help job seekers – the unemployed and mis-employed – hear and follow God’s calling in their work. Peachtree Christian Church will be offering a Network Meeting for Job Seekers. The Network Meetings will include facilitated and informal networking, expert speakers on career search topics, and access to industry guides. Print a flyer to take with you or to give to someone you know.
Network Meetings
Frequency: Every 3rd Monday (adjusting for holidays)
When: 7:30am to 8:30am
Where: Burns Hall (enter at rear entrance on Church ground floor and take your first left)
On-Line
Log-in to the Crossroads Career Network Website for the Career Explorers Guide, the Job Board, Career Assessment tools, and other career resources. You will need to register to gain full access.
Do you need to register? Come to one of our network meetings to get a Career Explorer Membership Key and then register here! Select Peachtree Christian Church, enter the Key, and complete the registration form.
Would you like to volunteer? Here are some ways you can help Career Explorers:
- Spread the News about Career Explorers. Share this with any and everyone you know who is unemployed or misemployed!!!!!
- Industry Guide – spend 15 minutes per month speaking on the phone with our Career Explorers sharing information about your industry
- HR professionals - give advice about resumes, interviewing, etc.
- Employers or hiring managers who can provide job leads.
- Prayer & Encouragement Partners - pray for specific Career Explorers or come to meetings and provide encouragement.
- Administrative Helpers who can support the work of Career Explorers.
