Christian Womens Fellowship

The Christian Women's Fellowship of Peachtree Christian consists of seven Groups, named for women of the Bible; each Group meets monthly for study, fellowship and service.

Study Materials are available which encompass Mission studies, Bible studies, and/or social issues of the day. Many of the groups choose their own materials to meet their particular needs or interests.

General Meetings for the whole CWF are held quarterly, featuring special programs and events. These are great opportunities for spiritual encounters, fun, and fellowship among the groups.

Service to the local church and community is a vital part of the work of the women of PCC. The CWF gave at least $2000 back to the local church in areas of special needs this year. Our newly developed church, Chattahoochee Christian has been the recipient of our help over the past four years. The women are very active in support of extended care facilities: Campbell-Stone Retirement community, PCC Hospice, PCC Childtown, and Camp Christian. The CWF shares in community service to the Genesis Shelter, Habitat for Humanity, Christian City, Savannah Street Mission, Church Women United, Christ Mount, and our sister church in Moscow, Russia through Mission for Biblical Literacy.

In addition, individual groups are God's Hands and Feet reaching out to projects such as the Walk for Diabetes, sewing Chrismons, volunteering at the PCC Hospice, and participating in the PCC Hands and Hearts for God days.

A fund raiser was held during the Thanksgiving/Christmas season selling pecans, and we will repeat that this year. The projects are funded by group contributions and profit from the pecan sell.

Join us! You are sure to find a warm group of friends with whom to share and serve the Lord! You will be glad you did, and CWF will be blessed by your presence.
