Planning Your Wedding
Our sanctuary seats approximately 500 guests. The Chapel will seat approximately 90 people. The scheduling of the wedding and the rehearsal should be made through the Wedding
Coordinator by calling the church office at 404-876-5535, or by email: weddings@peachtree.org.
Wedding dates cannot be confirmed and placed on the church calendar without a completed Wedding Information Form and deposit check. A 50% deposit is required to confirm and reserve any date (all checks should be made to Peachtree Christian Church). The balance for the wedding is due ten days prior to the wedding.
Weddings are generally held on Saturdays at either 11:00 a.m., 2:00 p.m., 5:00 p.m., 6:00 p.m., or 6:30 p.m. Occasionally, a wedding may be held at 4:00 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon.
We try to accommodate everyone for his or her first choice of date and time. Please understand that this is not always possible. Weddings will not be scheduled during Holy Week and Easter Sunday, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day. Additional fees may apply for weddings reserved during other holiday weekends.
Once your wedding date has been approved and the deposit received, the Wedding Coordinator will schedule your visits with the Senior Minister. Four conferences will be held with the couple before the ceremony takes place. These sessions are helpful in preparing for one of life’s greatest decisions.
